Clerics

Clerics draw their powers from the Gods, as they pay homage to these powerful beings by offering their services, and undivided faithfulness to the Gods. The Gods in turn grant them powerful spells of healing, protection and awesome destructive power. Clerics are much needed in any battle, when killing foes of any scale, as their spells can not only heal wounds, but also lessen the severity of their opponents blows. Clerics are arguably the best class to play as a solo character, as they can refresh food, water, movement and hitpoints, travel instantly via recalling or portals, as well as wield a good variety of weapons, wear decent armour, and use their magics to protect themselves, and smite their foes!

Magic Users

Magic Users are the masters of aggressive magical powers. Within their fragile and ancient spellbooks lie incantations with which the mage can unleash vast powers of destruction. Magic users can within split seconds make their most mighty foes suffer mortal anguish only the Gods themselves can surpass. Although magic users cannot wear metal armor since it will block their spells, and are frail of body, their strength in any fight comes from their unrivalled knowledge of the arcane arts. For this reason Magic Users are essential members of any adventuring company, devastating their foes with fire, ice and energy. It is no surprise that a large number of PlayerKillers are mages!

Thieves

Thieves do not belong to an honorable profession, yet it is not entirely dishonorable. Thieves are experts at assassinations and can move with high agility and make little disturbance to their surroundings. Hiding in the smallest of shadows they lurk, ready to stalk and slay their foes. Their skills make them the initial stealth attack weapon, dealing swift retribution with their awesome backstab. Thieves are a favourite class for those who wish to stalk prey that is more cunning than mere mobiles, and thus many PlayerKillers belong to this class.

Warriors

Warriors are soldiers of ancient battlefields, they are the undisputed heroes of old. This class is the ultimate fighting machine. Standing at the front line of any battle ready to protect their fellow adventurers such as the spellcasters. Their skills at hand-to-hand combat are equalled by none. They do however have a lack of understanding magic which means they can never use spells. The Warrior is the easiest class to learn, and is thus set as a default for all starting characters by the game (you can use the Edit Character Menu to chose one of the other Base Classes however, should you prefer).
